Biography
Ms. Staven is a Research Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory which is operated by Battelle Memorial Institute for the U.S. Department of Energy. Her experience includes extensive use of computer models to assess radiological dose to humans from environmental transport and occupational exposure. She has been a contributor to numerous environmental impact statements, NESHAPs compliance reports for the Hanford Site, and the Energy Employee Occupational Injury Compensation Program Act dose reconstructions. Ms. Staven’s work is also leading to development of restoration standards for the Department of Homeland Security.
